Hello! My name is Alyssa Overcash, I’m originally from Atlanta, Ga but moved here in 2016. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Valdosta State University and have been a director of Communications at a local church for the past 8 years. My husband and I have 2 daughters and a dog (A German shepherd-husky named ralph!). I started at Cook’s Church in November 2024 as a part-time Director of Community Engagement. In February our Office manager retired and the church asked if I would be interested in combining the 2 roles and coming on staff in a full-time position. After much prayer and consideration, we decided this would be a great fit for our family. so now I’m not totally sure of my title but something like the Director of the office & Community Engagement, haha.
